Before i could use my SB-600 speedlight i needed to get some battery. I wanted to buy some cheap alkaline batteires first but then figured that it would be a waste of money so i pinjam some of my dad's money (since my walet is empty now -_-") to buy rechargable batteries. Haha i hope i get enough money this raya to pay my dad haha. Mana allowance skulah kan? =(

There's some lucky draw at Hua Ho. The left one for people who bought $50 and above and the left one for people who bought $50 and below. I got the $50 and above one and just won a cup with a picture of Hua Ho's building on it -_-" now i can admire Hua Ho everyday for my morning drink -_= haha
I got eneloop batteries. I heard they were good and researched about them and many said they were good and long lasting. Had to pay quiet a lot though. about $63 bux all together -_-" maynn i am soo broke. Haha well its better to get it then to get one of those cheap ones which will eventually break and, thus, forcing me to get a new one again.
See that "Nikon SB-600" on that yellow thingy. I bought a Diffuser right away since i saw one selling at the camera shop outside Hua Ho. They had colour filters also, i wanted to buy them but didnt know what they were for so ill just stick with the normal difuser for now. For those who doesn't know what a diffuser is for, i'll show u later =D
My very clean room. Haha i was soo excited to try out i just opened everything up and threw the garbage on my bed haha. BTW the picture was taken with the SB-600 when my lights were all closed. I used bounce flash. Cool ey? haha i love it!
1st TEST

Without any flash watsoever

With my built in flash

With my SB-600Pics above and below are just pics of me trying out the bounce flash. I love bounce flash. For those who don't know, bounce flash is when you position your flash to face the ceiling, whereby the flash wil bounce on the ceiling and spread throughout the whole room, its magnificent way to get beautiful indirect flash.
2nd TEST

Taken using my built in flash

Taken using my SB-600 by doing a bounce flash.
For teh following pictures i was just trying out using manual settings on my flash

Haha, i have yes to master it.
3rd TEST

Taken using only the SB-600

Taken using my SB-600 with a difuser..
Maynn i forgot to take a pic of my difuser. Well its like a cup shaped white thing which goes on top of ur flash, haha google it up. It helps spread your flash more when ur positioning ur flash directly on a subject so it doesn't give a harsh direct flash.
.
I am definitely not a pro so sorry if i was wrong in any of the info i gave haha
