D300s first test shots (20-01-2010)

I was AMAZED the first time i held the D300s, all the stuff it had to offer, all those focus points, the frames per second, the amount of control u had over every bit of the camera, the video capabalities and bunch more.



However it was too much for me that time though, i was soo confused and lost with what to press and what to set first. All the buttons and everything, i was lost. Haha going from a user-friendly D60, to a professional D300s SLR camera is not easy -_-" haha

Basically the camera made me look like a newbie again -_-"



I love the 50mm, f1.8 lens though. Look at the bokeh at the above picture, and the sharpness, beautiful! For those who don't really know camera's, the term "Bokeh" is basically the blurry parts. The lesser the number of ur "f1.8" (which is ur aperature) the more sharper ur focus gets on the subject, and thus, the more blurriness at the back of what ur not focusing on.
.
Also, the lower ur aperature (i.e. f1.8) the more lights goes in ur lens, thus having less need for a flash, and getting more beautiful pictures with natural light. Which was really good for me after having my Flash (speedlight) broken -_-"

Born on January 23rd 1991

The name is Abdul Wafiy bin Awang Moslim. I've been called Waffle, Fee, Pee, Wufti, Waf Waf, Woof Woof, Wafster and many other beautiful names -_-" but i'd prefer you just call me WafiyM haha there's a alot of Wafiy's in Brunei so need to make my name a little more unique haha

I am currently studying at PTEM as an upper six student and i don't love the school as much as i loved PTEB but i still love the people just as much =D

My biggest hobby is photography. My interest in photography started in form 4 when i joined my schools photography club.

Got my first DSLR (Nikon D60) on 2nd april 2008 and before that I used a Sony DSC-P32 (Point & Shoot)
